As long as the equipment has its service life, as long as we do regular maintenance, nature can also extend its service life, the next small will talk to you about how to effectively maintain the injection mould.
1, processing enterprises should first be equipped with a resume card for each pair of moulds, detailed records, statistics of its use, care (lubrication, cleaning, rust removal) and damage, according to the card can find out which parts are damaged, wear and tear degree to provide information to find and solve the problem, as well as the mould molding process parameters, the product of the material used to reduce the time of the mould trial to improve the production efficiency.
2、Processing companies should test the various properties of the mould under normal operation of the injection moulding machine and mould, and measure the size of the final moulded parts, through which the information can determine the current status of the mould, find out the damage of the cavity, core, cooling system and parting surface, and judge the damage status of the mould and maintenance measures based on the information provided by the plastic parts.
After completing a production cycle, the working surfaces, moving parts and guiding parts of the mould should be coated with professional anti-rust oil, and special attention should be paid to the protection of the elastic strength of the mould-carrying parts with gears, racks and springs to ensure that they are always in a better working condition.
With the continuous prolongation of production time, scale, rust, sludge and algae are easily deposited in the cooling channel, which makes the cross-section of the cooling channel smaller and the cooling channel narrower, greatly reducing the heat exchange rate between the coolant and the mould and increasing the production cost. Therefore, attention should be paid to the cleaning of the cooling channel.
For hot runner moulds, maintenance of the heating and control system is very important as it helps to prevent production failures. Therefore, band heaters, bar heaters, heating probes and thermocouples on the mould should be measured with an ohmmeter after each production cycle. If they are damaged, they should be replaced in a timely manner, checked against the mould history and recorded so that problems can be identified and countermeasures taken in a timely manner.
